Terms of Use & Service agreement

1. Introduction
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website primarycarelearning.org.uk and your subscription to the educational services provided by Primary Care Learning CIC ("we", "us"). By subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
2. Our Service
We provide educational resources, including Practice Based Small Group Learning (PBSGL) modules, conferences, and facilitator support for primary care professionals.
3. Subscription & Membership Status
3.1. Subscription: Your payment of the annual fee grants you a license to access our educational materials and participate in learning groups for the duration of your subscription (12 months).
3.2. Legal Membership: IMPORTANT: Subscription to our services does not confer legal membership of Primary Care Learning CIC (the Company).
Subscribers are customers of the CIC.
Subscribers do not have voting rights at General Meetings and are not "Guarantors" of the company under the Companies Act 2006.
4. No Clinical Advice
4.1. The content provided (including PBSGL modules) is for educational purposes only. It is designed to support professional development and peer discussion. 4.2. While every effort is made to ensure content is accurate and based on current evidence (provided via NHS Education for Scotland), it does not constitute clinical advice. 4.3. You retain full professional responsibility for the care of your patients. We accept no liability for clinical decisions made based on information provided in our educational materials.
5. Payments and Renewals
5.1. Subscriptions are billed annually. 5.2. Payments are processed via Stripe. By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees. 5.3. Refunds: Subscriptions are generally non-refundable once the service has been accessed. Exceptions may be made at the Directors' discretion in exceptional circumstances.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. The PBSGL modules and educational materials are the intellectual property of NHS Education for Scotland or other licensors. 6.2. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal study and small group learning only. 6.3. You must not copy, distribute, sell, or publish these materials outside of your learning group without written permission.
7. User Conduct
You agree to use our website and services professionally. We reserve the right to terminate the subscription of any user who:
Misuses the website or materials.
Behaves abusively towards staff, facilitators, or other subscribers.
Breaches these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primary Care Learning CIC excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising out of your use of our website or reliance on our educational materials. Our total liability to you shall be limited to the amount you paid for your annual subscription.
